Blue Horizon Labs

Blue Horizon Labs Web Factory

Websites, built on a rail. Priced in public.

We build sites the way we run research: measure first, build on one tested template, gate every change, and keep measuring after launch. Every price on this page is a published fixed fee or a published floor.

How a site ships here

One sequence, every time: measure, build, be found, keep it running.

  1. 01
    Measure

Start with a reading, not a quote.

  2. 02
    Build

    Three tiers, one rail.

  3. 03
    Be found

    Foundation first, then a cadence.

  4. 04
    Keep it running

After launch, someone who built it keeps it measured.

A bundle — the site delivered as the front door of a Notion operating system, with leads flowing into the CRM — is quoted after a diagnostic, not from this page.

The template

What every site on the rail ships with.

The Starter scope is the template itself. The higher tiers add pages, design, content systems, and integrations on top of it — they never remove anything from this list.

  • One template, kept current

The same statically exported site and edge deployment this page is served from. New builds start from the current template, not from a copy that aged.

  • Your brand as one token file

Colors, type, and spacing live in a single design-token file. A new brand is a token swap on tested layouts, not a redesign — and the layouts stay tested.

  • A contact form that reaches you

Bot-gated, wired to your inbox and to a Notion or CRM sheet, with a fallback path so a provider outage does not lose the inquiry.

  • The machine-readable layer

Structured data, a sitemap, robots, llms.txt, and cookieless analytics — the parts that decide whether search and answer engines describe you correctly.

  • A published gate on every change

Build integrity, internal links, the search index, structured-data invariants, and brand checks run before anything deploys. A change that fails does not ship.

  • Handover you can act on

Your domain in your account, the code in a repository you control, and a handover document another developer could work from. Care is optional, and month to month.

This site is the reference build. The design-system case study records a one-session re-skin on the same token file, and the service-line case study records how these prices were published before the first sale.

The ladder

Eight packages. Every price published.

A fixed fee where the scope is fixed; a floor where the diagnostic sets the figure. Nothing on this ladder is quoted from a call.

01

Start with a reading, not a quote.

Every build here is scoped from the Website Diagnostic — a measured read of the site you have against search, speed, and conversion evidence, ending in a written recommendation to rebuild, repair, or leave it alone. Its fee is credited in full against the first invoice of whatever it scopes.

  • Existing site

    Website Diagnostic

A read of the site you already have, against evidence rather than taste: what is costing you search, what is costing you speed, and what is costing you the inquiry.

    • A page-by-page read against search, performance, and conversion evidence
    • A prioritized defect list with the fix effort next to each item
    • A written recommendation: rebuild, repair, or leave it alone
    $2,0002 weeks

Credited in full against the first invoice of any build we scope from it.

02

Three tiers, one rail.

Starter is the template with your brand on it. Custom adds designed pages, editable content, and lead capture into the system you run the business on. Flagship adds a documented brand system and the integrations the diagnostic scoped. Each is a floor; the written scope names the figure before you sign.

  • Five pages, fast

    Starter Site

A correct, fast, findable presence on the Web Factory template: up to five pages, your brand applied as one design-token file rather than a redesign, and the same published quality gate this site runs on.

    • Up to five pages on the template — home, services, work, about, contact — with your copy, lightly edited
    • Your brand as one token file: colors, type, and spacing swapped in; the layouts kept
    • A contact form with a bot gate, wired to your inbox and to a Notion or CRM sheet; cookieless analytics
    • Structured data, sitemap, robots, and llms.txt; your custom domain on Cloudflare; a handover document and 30 days of fixes
    from $3,5001–2 weeks

Scoped in writing from the Website Diagnostic, whose fee is credited in full. One revision round. Custom layouts, a CMS, and integrations are the Custom tier.

  • The front door of your operating system

    Custom Site

Everything in Starter, plus custom design on the token system across eight to twelve pages, content your own team edits, and lead capture wired into the system you actually run the business on.

    • Eight to twelve pages with custom design on the token system
    • Editable content collections — blog, case studies, FAQs — that your team maintains without us
    • Lead capture wired into your operating system (a Notion CRM or your tool), plus whole-site search
    • The on-page half of the Search Foundation Sprint, two revision rounds, and a training session
    from $7,5004–6 weeks

Scoped in writing from the Website Diagnostic, whose fee is credited in full. Integrations beyond forms and the CMS, paid media, and ongoing content are out of scope.

  • Brand system and integrations

    Flagship Site

Everything in Custom, plus a documented brand design system, the integrations the diagnostic scoped — booking, payments, a gated area — performance budgets enforced in the gate, and a staged rollout.

    • A brand design system: the tokens plus a documented component library
    • The integrations scoped in the diagnostic — booking, payments, a portal or gated area, sign-in
    • Performance budgets enforced in the gate, conversion experimentation set up, and a staged rollout
    • The full Search Foundation Sprint, documentation, and handover
    from $15,0006–8 weeks

Scoped in writing from the Website Diagnostic, whose fee is credited in full. Ongoing experimentation and app builds are separate engagements.

03

Foundation first, then a cadence.

The sprint fixes the structural layer that decides whether search engines and answer engines can describe you correctly. The retainers publish against a frozen keyword battery and report what moved — rank, clicks, impressions, and citations — every month.

  • Findability

    Search Foundation Sprint

The structural work that decides whether search engines and answer engines can describe you correctly: entity data, page structure, and the machine-readable layer underneath.

    • Structured data and entity markup wired to one canonical description of the business
    • Page structure, titles, and internal links rebuilt around the terms buyers actually use
    • A machine-readable site map for answer engines, and a baseline you can re-measure
    $2,5002–3 weeks
  • Publish steadily, measure honestly

    Search Growth

Two to four pieces a month drafted for your review, on-page iteration as they land, and a monthly report against a frozen keyword battery — rank, clicks, impressions, and where answer engines cite you.

    • Two to four pieces per month, drafted for your review and published under your name
    • On-page iteration and internal linking as the pieces land
    • A monthly report: rank on the frozen battery, Search Console clicks and impressions, answer-engine citation spot checks, and next month's plan
    • A quarterly strategy review
    from $2,500/moMonthly

    Six-month minimum. No paid ads.

  • Category and regional authority

    Search Authority

Search Growth plus the outreach layer: digital-PR drafts you send, link acquisition tracked, conversion optimization on the pages that carry the traffic, and one regional or industry data piece each quarter — delivered weekly.

    • Everything in Search Growth, on a weekly delivery cadence
    • Outreach and digital-PR drafts you send under your name, with link acquisition tracked
    • Conversion optimization on the pages that carry the traffic
    • One regional or industry data piece per quarter, published under your name
    from $5,500/moMonthly

    Six-month minimum.

04

After launch, someone who built it keeps it measured.

Month to month, no lock-in: hosting, updates, uptime, and backups handled, a note each month on what changed and what the numbers did, and a standing block of improvement time you direct.

  • After the build

    Care & Growth

Month to month, no lock-in: the site and the systems stay patched, measured, and improved by someone who built them, instead of decaying quietly until the next rebuild.

    • Hosting, updates, uptime, and backups handled
    • A monthly note on what changed and what the numbers did
    • A standing block of improvement time you direct
    from $500/moMonth to month

No minimum term. Cancel with 30 days' notice.

Questions

Before you book.

Do I need the Website Diagnostic before a build?
Yes. Every build is scoped in writing from the diagnostic, and the diagnostic fee is credited in full against the first invoice of that build. The diagnostic is also where we tell you a rebuild is not worth it — that answer is part of the deliverable, and plenty of sites get it.
What does “from” mean on a price?
A floor, not an estimate. The written scope that comes out of the diagnostic names the exact figure before you sign anything, and the published floor is the least that scope will be. We publish the floor so you know the order of magnitude before the first call.
What does the quality gate actually check?
Before any change deploys: the build itself, every internal link, the whole-site search index, the structured-data invariants, and the brand checks — the same chain this site runs on every change to itself. Performance and accessibility are measured on the preview before launch, and the care plan re-measures them each quarter.
Who owns the site afterwards?
You do. The domain sits in your Cloudflare account, the code lives in a repository you control, and the handover document is written so another developer could take it on without us. Care & Growth is optional and month to month.
Can you take over a site you did not build?
Start with the diagnostic. If the recommendation is repair rather than rebuild, we quote the repair from the findings. The care plan covers sites built on the rail, because the gate and the release process are what the plan maintains.

Begin

Start with the reading.

Two weeks, a written recommendation, and a fee that comes back to you if we build. If the honest answer is to leave your site alone, you will have that in writing too.
